This was a very straightforward deck; simply tank Steelix with as many Metal Energy as possible and hope to survive. It has some great matchups against decks that couldn’t put out much damage, but against others that could OHKO (like Blaziken) it was awful.

I don’t mean to necrobump this, but what purpose do the Claw Fossils have? Are they just Robo Substitutes? Why are there only 3 Dark Steelix? I don’t see any way to recover them, and it’s not like it’s an ex…
What purpose do the Rare Candy serve when you run a 3-3, a 2-2-2, and a 2-2-2? Are they just mini-BTSes? Also, the 4 Steven’s Advice seems a little odd…most of the decks I’ve seen only run like 1-2 of them. Was I just viewing a bad sample?

Claw Fossil were for biding time to set up. Idk if that was necessarily a good list.
