#2

Had a disappointing run in Phoenix. After starting 0-1-2, climbing the ladder up to 5-2-2 was a stretch, only to miss on T64 points because of resistance. This is gonna be a tough season.

#3

Last minute decided to play at San Jose since I had the weekend off from work, despite selling a majority of my cards and essentially quitting about a month beforehand. Built a deck the morning of the event and had a couple misfortunes, such as scooping game 2 in the second round 30 seconds before time was called, mistakenly thinking I had enough time to play a quick game 3. I also misplayed my way to a loss game 2 in R8, and didn’t have enough time to finish game 3 before time was called, knocking me out of contention for Day 2. Scooped R9 to put a friend looking for an invite in T64. Regardless, I had a fun weekend. Unsure of whether I’ll be attending anything else this season, but we’ll see what happens.

#4

Decided to play in Anaheim, and actually had a lot of fun. Built my deck as Round 1 was starting so I’m pretty happy with my performance. We had over 512 players, meaning Top 64 got $250 too, which is definitely appreciated. Unlike in San Jose, I legit had fun playing these matches, and it almost makes me want to try to go to another Regionals this season. Might hit up Seattle just as an excuse to visit the area again, but we’ll see. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to completely quit this game.
